Helen Paul, a Nigerian comedian, has disclosed the secret to her academic success.
The performer, who was just named a professor at Heart International Bible University in the United States, believes it is beneficial to be actively involved in both practical and theoretical work at a university and society at large.
“Anything you do in your field of employment will help you advance in your career,” the comedian stated.
Her services to mankind, she claims, were the key to her scholastic achievement.
“For example, Nike Art Gallery, a gorgeous woman who is one of my mentors, her skill speaks for her both at home and abroad to the extent that she is being recognized in universities not just in Nigeria but all over the world,” the 44-year-old comedienne continued.
The comedienne earned a Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from Heart International University in the United States.
She’s also a stand-up comedian known as Tatafo, with a voice range that makes her sound like a child, and she’s the first of her Nigerian colleagues to earn a Ph.D.
The academic couldn’t contain her joy as she introduced her new position as the school’s new head of the arts, music, and entertainment department.
The 44-year-old Comedienne, Helen Paul announced the good news in an Instagram post that included images of herself and her coworkers at the award ceremony.
Helen’s husband, Femi Bams, earned a doctorate in law from the same university.
Celebrating their latest achievements, Helen wrote: “Congratulations to us my love. Such a great honor for both of us. You graduated as a Doctor of law and I was promoted too. Professor Helen Paul, now the new H.O.D Department of Arts, Music and Entertainment. Heart International University USA. Thank you for all the sleepless nights. Thank you for sacrificing for us.”
