Chelsea Board of Directors Certain About Jules Kounde

Chelsea’s board of directors are convinced that they will win the fight to recruit Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.

With two centre-backs due to leave this summer, Thomas Tuchel’s club is desperate to bolster their defense.

Antonio Rudiger has agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, while Andreas Christensen will join Barcelona.

Chelsea has identified Kounde, a long-term target, as a suitable substitute.

According to ABC Sevilla, Blues executives are “convinced” that they can reach an agreement.

According to the report, Chelsea is advising Kounde’s representatives to reject offers from other teams.

Last summer, Sevilla held out for the release clause on their star defender Jules Kounde, which is said to be worth roughly £70 million.

Chelsea, on the other hand, believes they can obtain him for a lower price this time.
