Sean “Diddy” Combs, a rapper and music producer, was crowned the world’s highest-paid performer on Monday, knocking pop singer Taylor Swift down to 49th place on Forbes’ annual list.

With $105 million from her best-selling “Lemonade” album and world tour, Beyonce moved into second place, while British novelist J.K. Rowling ($95 million) re-entered the top three owing to her “Harry Potter” spinoff movie franchise “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

According to Forbes, Combs, 47, earned an estimated $130 million in the 12 months ending June 1, 2017. The large payoff was credited to his Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, earnings from his Sean John clothing line, and his connection with Ciroc vodka, according to the report.

Last year, Combs was ranked 22nd on the list, following Swift’s best-selling “1989” album and world tour, which earned her $170 million.

With no new album or tour, the 27-year-old country singer-turned-pop sensation saw her earnings drop to $44 million this year, according to Forbes.

Model Kylie Jenner, the 19-year-old half-sister of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, made $41 million in 2017, while US radio and television personality Steve Harvey earned $42.5 million.

Based on data from Nielsen, touring trade newspaper Pollstar, movie database, and interviews with industry experts and celebrities themselves, Forbes creates the list predicting pre-tax revenues before deducting fees for managers.

The top 100 celebrities in the world made a combined $5.1 billion – roughly the same as the top 100 athletes.
