Seven Community Member Executed Over Witchcraft Practice in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has verified the execution of seven individuals in Dasin Bwate village in the state’s Fufore Local Government Area (LGA) over witchcraft claims.

The state’s police spokesman, DSP Sulaiman Nguroje, verified the news to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Adamawa

The event occurred on Tuesday, according to Nguroje, who also stated that an investigating team had been dispatched to the community.

“Witchcraft allegations led to the deaths of seven persons in Dasin Bwate village in Fufore LGA.

A police investigative team has been dispatched to the village,” Nguroje stated.

He said, however, that when the team arrived in the village on Wednesday morning, all of the locals had left, including the village chief.

According to Nguroje, the team discovered the seven unidentified bodies in one of the village’s dwellings.

So yet, he claims, no arrests have been made.
