School Building Collapses in Ogun, Killing One Kid and Injuring Two

One kid was murdered when a classroom at Nazareth High School in Ogun State’s Imeko-Afon region collapsed.

According to NG Times, two more kids were hurt when the building collapsed. The event was confirmed by Imeko Ward Councillor Samuel Ojoawo.

According to reports, the structure collapsed unexpectedly on the three pupils, killing one of them, Ilebiyi, on the spot and injuring the other two.

The injured pupils were taken to the hospital for treatment, while the deceased was reportedly buried according to Islamic customs.

One of the two survivors of the tragedy, according to the councillor, suffered minor injuries, while the other was responding to hospital care.

“The experience is extremely disappointing and pathetic,” he remarked. The incident involved three females, one of them died and the other two were injured.

One of the two injured individuals was only slightly hurt. The other was brought to the hospital for treatment. I went there, and she’s doing well with the treatment. She is doing much better now.”

The current administration of the council, the Councillor explained, had ordered the total demolition of the structure in question.

When contacted, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, stated he had not been briefed.
