Nigerians React As Fani-Kayode Eulogize Yahaya Bello in His Post

Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode eulogized Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello in a post on his verified Facebook page on Thursday, referring to him as the “White Lion.”

The human rights lawyer said he had a productive discussion with Yahaya Bello the Kogi state governor yesterday, calling him as a “irrepressible and inspiring leader who has enormous courage and cannot be bullied or cowed by anyone,” according to the tweet.

“It’s always a pleasure to spend quality time with the White Lion, and our meeting was fruitful and productive,” he remarked.

Governor Bello is an irrepressible and inspiring leader who has immense courage, who cannot be intimidated or cowed by anyone, who has achieved great things for his state and people and who has contributed immensely to the establishment of peace and progress in our country.

We have been working closely together for a considerable period of time now and we shall continue to do so over the years.

“I am very proud of him and, together with others, we shall continue to build bridges of peace, love and unity in our country and help to move her forward.

“Great changes are coming very soon! Stay tuned and stay blessed”.

The article, however, did not go over well with Nigerians, who flooded the comment area to chastise the former Minister for his erratic political behavior.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was correct in his recent comment, according to several outraged Facebook users who replied to the post.

Remember how Obasanjo recently referred to the former Minister as his boy, stating, “give him with food, and he will eat and then sing for you.” He’s a bright young man.”

Others described Fani-Kayode as someone who takes advantage of every opportunity to profit himself in the name of bridging the country’s divides.

Below are some comment:

Abdulbaki Jatto: “You’ve been up and doing sir. Your friends and brothers in sit of authority are really trying to protect you from bankruptcy. Keep it up Honourable Minister for Crucial meeting and Fruitful discussion”.

Uzoprince Agbaps: “Useless man. Very shameless. Bello is now your lion. chai you have turned to a beggar”.
