Arsenal Set to Win Champions League within Two Years – Odegaard

Martin Odegaard, an Arsenal playmaker, has stated that the team intends to win the Champions League “within a couple of years.”

Martin Odegaard (born 17 December 1998) is a Norwegian professional footballer who captains the Norway national team and plays as an offensive midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal.

Since 2017, Arsenal has not competed in Europe’s premier club competition. They failed to qualify for any European competition this season.

Odegaard, who joined Arsenal on a permanent basis this summer, is optimistic that they will resume their ascent.

“To get the team up the table, near the top of the league and battle for European football and trophies,” he told Sky Sports when asked about his aspirations.

“Obviously, for this season, we want to return to European football. For us, the players, the club, and the supporters, this is crucial.

“Hopefully, with time, we will win trophies, the Champions League, and the league within a couple of years.
