Ex-Naval Officer Commodore Kunle Olawunmi visited the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Abuja, according to rights lawyer Femi Falana.
Recall on Wednesday, the Ex-naval officer, Olawunmi appeared on Channels Television’s “Sunrise Daily” breakfast show, which was watched by NG Times Online News.
The attack by savage bandits on the Kaduna campus of Nigeria’s foremost military academy, the Nigerian Defence Academy, where two military personnel were slain and another kidnapped, he termed as a “aberration.”
It is an aberration; you don’t attack the Nigerian Defence Academy and get away with it,” the Ex-naval officer lamented, adding that the NDA, like other military environments in the country, carelessly opens its doors to everyone on Friday for Jumat prayer.
After an inflammatory appearance on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily last week in which he chastised President Muhammadu Buhari, the DIA invited Olawunmi.
He claimed that some of the people behind Boko Haram were still in the presidency and among the governors.
The DIA requested that Olawunmi appear before it on Tuesday, and she accepted the invitation with Falana.
The invitation, according to Falana, was for a pleasant chat, and he confirmed that Commodore Kunle Olawunmi had a nice chat with officers at the Defence Intelligence Agency this afternoon.
During the exchange, Falana said he represented the former military commander in strict accordance with the Administration of Criminal Justice Act.
