Southern Governors Issue Deadline for Implementation of Anti-Open Grazing Law

The Southern Governors has now given a time limit for the Anti-Open Grazing Law.

The NG Times Online News understands that Southern Governors have established the time limit for promulgation of the anti-open pasture law in their Member States under the umbrella of the Southern Governors’ Forum on 21 September 2021.

The Gobernators decided on Monday at a closer meeting in the Lagos state, this on-line news platform understands.

Rotimi Akeredolu, Governor of Ondo State, who read the communication soon after the meeting, said the members agreed on the date.

The governors, who warned the security agencies in the country not to operate in their various states without permission from the governor in charge, also insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor must emerge from the region.
