Buhari Can’t Get Adequate Medical Attention in Nigeria – Femi Adesina

Overtime, controversies have always surrounded the health of President Buhari, in a recent interview, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria stated reasons why The president would prefer international medical attention.

Femi Adesina, a presidential communications assistant, has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari will not be able to obtain medical treatment in Nigeria.

This was said by Adesina during an interview on Channels TV’s “Politics Today” program. He claims that the President has been seeing the same doctors for nearly 40 years.

“President Buhari has worked with the same doctors and medical staff for over 40 years,” he says. It’s best if he stays with those who are familiar with his medical history, which is why he travels to London to meet them.”

“He has used the same medical team for over 40 years. Once you can afford it, then stay with the team that has your history.”

Ng Times previously reported that President Buhari went for the United Kingdom on Monday to attend the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025 and to undergo medical examinations.

Adesina also revealed that the President will spend two weeks in the United Kingdom.
