The Peoples Redemption Party, PRP has blamed the terrible security and socio-economic situation in the country on President Muhammadu Buhari’s misrule.
Nigeria is faced with so many problems at the moment. During times like this, it is not uncommon to see people point accusing fingers at some persons or groups. The Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari has become a victim of this.
A communiqué signed by PRP National Chairman, Professor Suleiman Bello, yesterday, read in part: “We recognise that the deplorable state of the nation is the consequence of bad governance by the ruling parties who have survived by encouraging divisive conflicts, endemic corruption, looting of state resources and the general mismanagement of social, economic and political fortunes of Nigeria.”
Bello pledged the commitment of the PRP to serve Nigeria, if Nigerians would gave it the opportunity in 2023 to lead “the struggle for salvation from the exploitative and oppressive conditions under which they have lived over the years.”
The PRP leaders added: “The party totally rejects calls by some organisations for the break up of Nigeria. We insist on unity as a basis for social, political and economic development.”
Do you think the PRP is right? Should they be given a chance to provide a presidential candidate in 2023?
