Super League: 12 Clubs Jointly Announce Truce

Following an agreement signed by top clubs across Europe, an agreement has now been reached to begin another competition referred to as Super League.

The clubs involved in this truce are the A-list team in Europe.

AC Milan, Arsenal , Atlético, Chelsea, Barcelona, Internazionale, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham have all joined.

About nine (9) other clubs are expected to join this soon. These 12 clubs will serve as the founding clubs of the Super League competition.

According to an official statement, “three more clubs are expected to join as Founding Clubs before the inaugural season, which is expected to start as soon as possible. In the future, the Founding Clubs look forward to consulting with UEFA and FIFA in order to work together.”

Some of the founding clubs have however took to their social media handles to announce this truce. One of the clubs is Arsenal football club.

The statement reads; “We are one of 12 Founding Clubs of the European Super League.”

The announcement has also generated mixed reactions from football fans across the globe on social media.
