The Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been on a abysmal run of form in recent weeks, but the welcome sight of Virgil van Dijk back on the training ground should perk the players up.
The Holland star seen training alone may be return to pitch earlier than expected, Klopp has however refuse to predict the day he’ll be back.
Liverpool team trained at their state of the art Kirkby facilities on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s clash with Premier League basement boys Sheffield United.
One big boost from the Liverpool training session is the return of Virgil van Dijk to training earlier in the day.
Of course it’s still early days yet, and as a result the Dutchman worked out on his own while the rest of the Reds trained in a group. Klopp has remained reluctant to provide a time frame on when the centre-back will return.
But it doesn’t seem like it will be too long before the much-missed Holland international is back with his team-mates and then back on the pitch for Liverpool.
Elsewhere summer signing Diogo Jota was in training and looked to be getting up to speed with his fitness, and Naby Keita has also provided Klopp with a boost.
The return of players may see a upturn in results and Klopp’s future secured.
