The Nigerian military is reported to have carried out air strike in Orlu village, Imo State in the early hour of today. The video footage of the Orlu air strikes shows residents are in frenzy and rude shock.

Some video footage of the Orlu air strikes shared online by residents of the area have shown people being subjected to military actions.

Nigerian military is said to be carrying out air strikes in order to fish out operatives of Eastern Security Network, ESN.

Recall Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, had set up the security network to secure communities against attacks from armed Fulani herdsmen.

In the viral videos, a helicopter belonging to Nigerian military is seen shooting into communities as residents run in panic for safety.

In one of the Orlu air strikes videos, a child could be heard crying and calling on the mother.

Ibekwe wrote;

“Relax people. The so-called helicopter gunship attack in Orlu, Imo happened on February 14. Nobody was shot at & there were zero casualties. However, I learnt the military is carrying out an operation there in search of militiamen of the IPOB-affiliated Eastern Security Network”
