Chelsea new gaffer Thomas Tuchel has started of his Premier League career with a goalless draw with Premier League rival Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The German makes four changes for his first Chelsea line-up as the Blues host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge; Olivier Giroud, Hakim Ziyech, Jorginho, Cesar Azpilicueta all recalled to the first eleven line up.

The new Blues boss has opted for experience over youth to host Nuno Espirito Santo’s out-of-form Wolves in the 6pm kick-off, recalling Cesar Azpilicueta, Olivier Giroud and Jorginho from the side which lost 2-0 to Leicester last week.

In attempt to make tactical changes, he rested all English players except for Callum Hudson-Odion in the mouth-watering encounter with a Wolves side who have experienced a poor run of form.

The new Chelsea manager waited till the sevety-seven before making his double changes. He replace Ben Chiwell with Christian Pulisic and Olivier Giroud for Tammy Abraham. In the eighty-third minutes of the encounter, he replaced Hakim Ziyech with Mason Mount. Recall Mount has feature in almost every mateches Chelsea have played this season.

The Chelsea vs Wolves match sees the Blues press for goals with great ball possession (79 – 21) but it didn’t come until the final blast of the whistle.

In other match, Burnley defeated Aston Villa in a 3 – 2 thriller.
