EndSARS: Senate Tells Buhari to Make Public Address
The Nigeria Senate has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately address the nation on EndSARS protests.
The Red Chamber said a presidential speech would further give Nigerians an insight of the government’s efforts and actions.
The demand followed a point of order by Senator representing Ekiti South senatorial district at the National Assembl, Biodun Olujimi.
It was titled, “EndSARS: The Need for a Comprehensive Reform”.
However, the Senate has further charged the police to protect demonstrators from hoodlums.
